Mindset and Mindfulness one-to-one Coaching is a particular branch of life coaching. One of it’s core ideas is that if you don’t know, like and value yourself none of the changes you want to achieve are going to really work (or be long lasting). In other words, it’s about helping you to feel positively about yourself and your experiences so that you can confidently develop new, self-empowered ways of being.
Stepping back a little more, Mindfulness is all about developing the awareness to see yourself as a whole person – emotional, physical, mental and spiritual – with enormous innate capability and wisdom. Mindfulness promotes an ability to be self-accepting (this is not at all defeatist or soft. It's a vital place to start from if you want any changes to be long lasting). Mindset is about being empowered about what you CHOOSE to believe about yourself, your life and your capacities. The brick walls we run into are created by the thoughts that we persistently hold on to that tell us we are incapable of - or not worthy of - the very thing that we aspire to be, do or have. Mindset coaching addresses these 'brick walls' and enables you to choose to come at life with a more self - supporting point of view.
