Group Workshops

Group Workshops are a wonderful way to learn and practice new ideas and skills. When you are part of a Heal Your Life Group Workshop, as well as the interactive learning (less theory more practice!) you benefit vastly from hearing other participants’ thoughts and experiences and from supporting and being supported by the group. 

No matter your past experiences we ensure that you feel safely able to get the most out of the experience that you can. After a workshop you find that your new skills and ideas easily become incorporated in your life. During longer workshops attendees say they experience significant changes that begin during the workshop and snowball after they go home.

Mindset and Mindfulness Coaching

 Mindset and Mindfulness one-to-one Coaching is different to other coaching styles, in that one of the core ideas is that knowing, liking and valuing yourself is part of the solution, right alongside the other goals or changes you want to achieve.  It's about helping people who are looking for positive change to confidently develop new, self empowered ways of being.
Mindfulness is all about developing the awareness to see yourself as a whole person – emotional, physical, mental and spiritual – with enormous innate capability and wisdom.  Mindfulness promotes an ability to be self accepting (this is not at all defeatist or soft. It's a vital place to start from if you want any changes to be longlasting).  Mindset is about being empowered about what you CHOOSE to believe about yourself and your life.  The brick walls we run into are created by the thoughts that we persistently hold on to that tell us that we are incapable of or not worthy of  the very thing that we aspire to be, do or have.  Mindset coaching addresses these 'brick walls' and enables you to choose to come at life with a more self - supporting point of view.    

It is action and solutions-focused for you .  It's perfect for the person who is willing to take the courageous journey. Its about a relationship with a person (your coach) who will challenge and cheerlead as you move forward.   
Locations: Hibiscus Coast, Mt Eden, Ellerslie, Hamilton and Rotorua or via online video call for those outside these areas.

Mindfulness Meditation Courses

When you are dealing with chronic stress, illness or issues stemming from imbalance in your life, one of the things that can really help is to include some kind of regular “reset” in your day.  Mindfulness meditation is a very potent way to reset. It gives both body and mind a break from living in “the Red Zone” of stress and overwhelm.

Mindfulness- Based Stillness Meditation (MBSM) is a mindfulness technique recognized internationally by leaders in the field. It was developed at the Gawler Institute in Australia – an organisation famous for improving recovery outcomes and quality of life for people affected by cancer and other illness. 

Suitable for everyone, and taught over 8 weeks (2 hours a week) this course gives you all the what, why and how of this highly-effective and very achievable practice.  With a focus on experience  and practical exercises, by the end of the course you will have a solid foundation for an ongoing,  satisfying daily habit that will significantly enhance your wellbeing.
